9-1-1 Guatemala First Meeting

Hey Folks,

Looks like we have enough ground work laid for us to be able to meet together and plan the campaign. We have some pretty exciting developments and further planning to do. We are going to have our first meeting 7:00 pm on Monday, March 29, in the Animal Science Building room 303. The meeting shouldn't take too long.

Some goals of the meeting will be:

1. Breaking up into committees. Be thinking about what committee you would like to be in, some committees will be the sponsorship committee, charity race committee, charity concert committee, etc. There are going to be more, but we will form those as they come up.

2. Dates of events for the summer campaign.

3. Membership in the True Blue Public Relations Firm.

4. Sponsors.

I hope all of you come, but since many of you are not even in Cache Valley, we will catch up later if you can't make it.

We drafted up a business proposal for sponsorship, it still needs some work but can be used for potential sponsors. We are looking for $2,000 for the Oneida County Ambulance, I have been contacting businesses myself, and it sounds like some are willing to give a a hundred here and there, but not the full $2,000. Think of who can be contacted, I have contacted, Zion's Bank, USU Credit Union, Bank of Utah, Mountain America Credit Union, Gossners, and Square 1 Printing. They were all rather helpful, I think because I said I was a student. Anyways, we have an appointment Square 1 Printing on Monday to pitch our proposal The rest are getting back to me.
